Order cancellation
If an order with applied reward points gets cancelled, the system automatically refunds the points to the customer's balance. Points won't get refunded if points used for the order have already expired.
If the customer is entitled to a reward for the order, the reward will be cancelled.
If the customer has already received the reward (activation period is not specified), the customer gets to keep the reward.
Issuing refunds
When you issue a credit memo, you can refund reward points applied to the order (partial or full).
If there's a reward associated with the order, you can deduct points (reduce the amount of points due to a customer).
If it's possible to refund and/or deduct points, the form appears at the bottom of the page. Select the corresponding checkbox and enter the number of points in the field.
